Tê'ta head with Emeline Delanis, athlete

Can you introduce yourself ?

I have done many years of swimming, my father being a former swimmer, he wanted at all costs that I knows about swimming; Unfortunately for him, I have always hated that.
One day, I even did it on purpose to disqualify myself during a 50m breaststroke to make people understand that I really wanted to change sports! Suddenly, I chose athletics because I have always liked to run at school. I started in chicks where I really did everything, but I was really launching a javelin and haw race while being younger. Then I was doing some cross, just to do some competition in winter, but it was not my thing. Then I did the pole and I really loved.
But I only went to training two or three times a week, so I had to make a choice and specialize in something. So I made the half-distance, a large part because my best friend was there.
Then the middle distance it really happened when I went to study in California, where I went from 3 training sessions per week to 6 or 7, then from my 15km per week to more than 60km ...!

Why did you choose Tā as a nutrition partner?

I have a lot of trouble hydrating. So I chose your because they offer quality products and manufactured in France, including electrolyte pastilles that help me a lot to stay hydrated. They also have other excellent products that help me recover.

What is your favorite product?

Wild Berry hydration pastilles !

Worse habit?

Always wait for the last minutes to do things!

Favorite food after the race?

I'm never hungry after a race. Only for ice, with my Ben & Jerry’s!

Tell us a fun/quirky fact on you?

During the European Cross Championships in 2018 in Tilburg, we were spotted the course the day before. There were small and large curls. I hadn't taken it too seriously because I don't particularly like to run to the place of a competition the day before.
Then the day of the race, I start the start, then impossible to remember where I was, how many loops I had done ... I thought I had one last loop, then I heard people say "More than 400m !!! ».
It happened to me too, once again during the European track championships, during my 10,000m! I couldn't remember how many laps I had done!

Favorite singer ?

I don't particularly have a favorite singer/ singer. I listen to a bit of everything. I like Indochina!

If you weren't you, would you be?

The sun !

What is the race you want to win one day?

Like many athletes I think, the Olympic Games, but already an international competition, I will be super happy!
